英文摘要 | The ISO 9000 series is the Quality Assurance and Quality Management System announced in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization. This system requires that daily operations be standardized through documentation and executed according to documented and that the results of these processes be recorded. Emphasis is placed on uniformity between words, action and print. Li Shin Hospital firmly believes that a healthcare organization's respect for life, its competitiveness, and its professionalism depend on the quality of its management. Thus, since the hospital was founded, efforts have been directed towards putting a comprehensive quality management system into practice. The ISO 9002 was introduced as a means of standardizing tasks as part of the groundwork for implementing Total Quality Management (TQM). The decision to adopt ISO 9002 was based on the following factors: (1) The ISO 9000 series is a systematically structured quality assurance program. (2) A documented mode of operations provides a foundation for the rationalization of procedures and future informational management. (3) The established auditing system examines the existence, operations and efficacy of the quality management system. (4) Cooperative results from unified management cabinet members and external consultants can be passed on to other hospitals, thereby reducing simultaneous development costs. This report describes the operational conditions during the five stages in the introduction of ISO 9002 at Li Shin Hospital; (1) auditing of the existing quality system; (2)cultural modeling; (3) education and training; (4) document generation and; (5) quality auditing. It also discloses five key elements for success and provides factual experience of an ISO 9002 quality assurance policy at the introductory stage. |
