英文摘要 | The sorption characteristics of some cations were studied on natural laumontite, as part of an effort to test the mineral for its ability to clean up waste water containing NH ���� and Mg �杠� and to investigate its application as containment of low-level liquid radioactive wastes containing �詆s and �sSr. Laumontite was first characterized by using various analysical techniques. Ion exchange isotherms were then constructed at different temperatures for Ca �杠�, replaced by NH ����,Cs ��,Mg �杠�, and Sr �杠�.The results obtained were computed to calculate thermodynamic parameters of the cation exchange process. The thermodynamic parameters were then used to predict the zeolite selectivity. |
