中文摘要 | 本文提出一 "放電角” 的觀點,利用此概念分析常見轉角加工的金 屬移除率,並根據移除率的計算值及所識別的放電加工系統模式,設計放電功 率控制及線張力調整的策略。基本的構想是在線極接近轉角前降低放電功率並 調昇線張力,而在通過角頂點後,依照金屬移除率的回昇率提高放電功率與恢 復原有線張力。由於對任意的隅角皆可求得移除率變化的理論值,因此本方法 可適用於任意的轉角加工。實驗結果證實,本方法可大幅改善角隅形狀精度及 工件側腹的鼓形問題。與實務上常用的駐角暫停策略比較,除改善角隅形狀精 度外,本方法能獲得更均勻的切槽寬度。 |
英文摘要 | A concept of discharge angle is introduced in this paper, and the metal removal rate analysis for corner cutting is given. Based on the proposed analysis and the approximated linear model of Wire-EDM process, a novel strategy of discharge power control together with the adjustment of wire tension is proposed. The basic idea is to reduce the discharge power and to increase the wire tension as wire approaches the corner. Then, they are recovered according to the increasing rate of metal removal after the wire passing the corner. This strategy is applicable to the cutting of all kinds of corners because the appropriate reference of discharge power is derived for arbitrary corner. Experimental results show that not only the contour accuracy but also the vertical straightness of the workpiece can be improved significantly. Comparing with the short pause strategy usually used in industrial application, the proposed strategy can obtain more uniform groove width. |
