中文摘要 | 學習過古典西藏語文法的人或許都有一個共通的經驗,就是古典西藏語與日語或英 語在許多方面有相似之處;例如:古典西藏語與日語同樣都使用「格助詞」(case partic1e) 的概念,句中的基本句型及詞序也是「主詞+不及物動詞」`「主詞+受詞+及物動詞」或「主詞 +主詞補語+連繫動詞」。而英語中,連接二個主要動詞所用的不定詞to、關係子句以及介系詞 的使用,在古典西藏語中亦有類似的表達方式。筆者認為若能藉由這些我們相當熟悉的觀念來 理解古典西藏語,或許在古典藏語的學習及文獻解讀上會更有助益也說不定。基於這個理念, 筆者以Stephen Hodge的文法書An Introduction to Classical Tibetan為基礎,並配合相 關的語言學知識,對古典藏語文法作了不同於傳統文法的詮釋,而這也正是本論文第壹章第三 節〈古典西藏語文法的主要結構特徵〉所要說明的重點;其次,以蓮花戒阿闍黎《入修瑜伽》(藏 rNal-'byor sgom-pa-la 'jug-pa)的譯例來印證這些結構特徵在解讀上的可行性。 |
英文摘要 | Perhaps all who have studied the Classical Tibetan grammar have a common experience, i.e. many similarities existing in Classical Tibetan language and Japanese or English. For example, the Classical Tibetan and the Japanese all use the concept of case particle; the basic sentence pattern and the order of words are all "subject+intransitive verb", "subject+object+transitive verb", or "subject+subjective complement+linking verb." In the meantime, the use of infinitive "to" to connect two main verbs as well as the relative clause and the preposition in English can be found also in Classical Tibetan. The author believes that if we can apply these rather familiar concepts to study the Classical Tibetan, perhaps we can gain some benefits in learning Classical Tibetan and interpreting literature. With this ideal in mind, the author bases on Stephen Hodge's An Introduction to Classical Tibetan and connect with relative knowledge of linguistics to interpret the Classical Tibetan grammar with methodology different from the traditional grammar. This is the key point explained in the third section of the first chapter of this paper, namely 'The Main Structural Characteristics of Classical Tibetan Grammar.' The author tries to use Kamalasila's rNal-'byor sgom-pa-la 'jug-pa as an example to prove the possibility of these structural characteristics in interpretation. |
