中文摘要 | 本研究主要目標在瞭解哪些因素會影響兒童之情境型興趣。本研究採取半結構式 的訪談法,對國小三至五年級學生進行研究。主要有以下四點發現:第一,無論就哪一個年 級學生而言,「人物刻劃」與「情節舖陣」是增加故事體課文趣味性的兩個重要因素。人物 刻劃包括主角的個性應是正向且被學生所佩服的,情節鋪陳則指文章內容應具有動態的歷程 。 論說文則應多用比喻或舉例以增加趣味性。第二,故事體課文較適合以 Schank ( 1979 )理論來解釋;亦即,「特殊主題」伴隨著「不可預測性」或「個人相關性」,會提高文章 的趣味性。 第三,論說文體則較適合以 Kintsch ( 1980 )的理論來解釋;亦即,「背景 知識」、「不確定感」、與「後知之明」是造成趣味性的來源。然而不論哪一類文體,文章 之「主題」,與閱讀過程中學生是否產生適當的「疑問」都是相當重要的。而最後,當學生 所建議改寫課文內容的原則,則多半執著於細節,而缺乏將全篇課文鉅觀思考的能力。因此 經學生改寫後的內容反而更缺乏邏輯統整的架構。未來研究宜以實驗方式進行,以確定各因 素對閱讀興趣之直接因果關係。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to examine the interestingness of an article. The 3 □, 4 ��, and 5 �� grade students were investigated through the semi-structured interviewing. It was found that when a narrative-typed article was chosen as the most interesting article, its portrayed characteristics and plots of the story were the two most important determinants. For the discourse-typed articles, on the other hand, good examples or metaphors should be used. Second, the Schank's (1979) theory is good to explain the interestingness of the narratives, and the Kintsch's (1980) theory is good to explain the interestingness of the discourses. That is, specific topics with unexpectedness and personal relatedness were important for the interesting narratives. The background knowledge of the readers, the uncertainty and the postdictions produced through reading process were important for the discourses. However, no matter which types of the articles, that how specific the topic was and how well the questions arising through reading were properly answered were two most important antecedents of interestingess. Finally, the ways students adopted to rewrite a less interesting article were usually thoughtless, trivial, and lack of logical thinking. Further research using experimental designs were suggested in order to clarify the causal relations between the found antecedents and interestingness. |
