中文摘要 | 二十世紀三十至五十代間,美國盛行著經驗主義、實用主義、實驗主義,其結果 使得教育趨近於實用的價值,職業教育、過份重視訓練的教育瀰漫於各國,學校變成是一種 個人用來獲得謀生能力的機構,而不是用來培養一個「人」及求取真理的地方,有鑑於此, 赫欽斯乃對此提出嚴厲的批評,因此,他乃提出「人」的教育及文雅教育來解決這些弊端。 現今,由於我國社會快速地工業化,使得我國學校教育及道德教育亦出現上述弊端,因此, 本文希望藉由對赫欽斯教育思想的探討以作為我國學校教育的參考。 |
英文摘要 | During 1930 Pragmatism, Empiricism, Experimentalism reigned in America. The result was that the schools became a kind of institution that trains students to get the ability of making a living. The original aims of school(cultivating "a person" and pursuing truth) were neglected. Becaused of the defect above, Hutchins proposed liberal education to overcome the situation. In past few years, because of rapid industrialization in Taiwan society, many problems has emerged successively from school education and moral education. Therefore, The goal of the article is to make readers to get a complete understanding of Hutchins' thinking, Besides this, It's believable that the article can provide schools with more referential information. |
