中文摘要 | 在臺灣中部南投縣望鄉山區附近的郡大林道(24~37公里之間,海拔2400~2700公 尺),採取兩個壤質淋澱土,藉以研究在臺灣中部山區環境下,高山森林土壤中淋澱土之形 態特徵、理化性質與土壤化育過程。本研究區氣候低溫多雨,冷涼潮濕,屬溫和的(mesic) 溫度境況及濕潤的(udic)水分境況。母質主要為板岩和砂岩。植生以臺灣二葉松(Pinus taiwanensis)、柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica)及紅檜(Chamaecyparis formosensis)等造林樹種 為主。強酸性土壤、鹽基飽和度小於3%,及有機碳和鐵的明顯洗入的淋澱層,顯示淋澱化 作用是本研究區主要之土壤化育過程。此兩個土壤樣體在淋澱層中均有明顯黏粒聚積的現 象。土壤化育作用係有機-鐵、鋁錯合物之向下移動洗入和黏粒之向下移動洗入,但無法在 淋澱層中看見黏粒膜。根據美國土壤分類系統,可將此兩個土壤樣體分類為典型簡育腐植淋 澱土(Typic Haplohumod)及典型簡育正常淋澱土(Typic Haplorthod)。 |
英文摘要 | Two loamy Spodosols were selected from the elevation between 2400 to 2700 meters in the Chunta forest region near Wanghsiang Mountain in central Taiwan to study the soil morphology, soil physical and chemical characteristics, and their pedogenic processes. The study area is located at a high elevation with high precipitation and low temperature, cool and humid weather conditions. The soil temperature regime and soil moisture regime are mesic and udic, respectively. The parent materials are slate and sandstone. The vegetation types are dominated by Taiwan red pine, peacock pine, and Taiwan red cypress, which were planted artificially. The low soil pH, very low bases saturation percentage(<3%), and significant illuviation of organic carbon and iron (or aluminum) in the spondaic horizon indicate that podzolization is the main pedogenic process in the study area. The spondaic horizons of two pedons are also characterized by clay accumulation. Pedogenesis in this study area is characterized by the illuviation of organo-metallic (Fe and/or Al) complexes and clay, but we can not find a clay skin in the spodic horizon. According to Keys to Soil Taxonomy, the two pedons can be classified as Typic Haplohu-mod and Typic Haplorthod. |
