中文摘要 | 以壓鑄機生產鋁合金鑄件是一種快速及產量大的製程方法。傳統的壓鑄方法係利 用柱塞推擠鋁液通過狹窄的澆口進入模穴,使得鋁液能夠在很短的時間內以類似霧化狀態充 填模穴。但是這種霧化的鋁液極易產生亂流而包覆空氣,造成捲氣現象,最後在鑄件內部及 次表面形成氣孔。當鑄件經固溶處理( T4 )後,表面極易產生凸泡而嚴重影響外觀及其機 械等各種性能。 本文即針對輸管用鋁合金鑄件( ADC 10 ) -- 快速管接頭作為載具,利用現有之壓鑄機設 備, 以低速充填製程, 開發可熱處理之鑄件。 研究結果顯示在 3/4 英吋管接頭澆口面積 0.7cm �插A 澆口速度 1.85m/sec 條件下,經 803k ( 530 ℃) X 4hrs. 固溶處理後表面 無凸泡現象,但發現局部冷接缺陷。如果對模仁接近澆口附近通入冷卻水,反而造成鑄件凝 固補縮時之阻礙,使位於澆口上端厚斷面部位產生明顯之疏鬆組織。 在 1 英吋管接頭模具 中, 中子梢通水冷卻後其表面模溫約為 503k ( 230 ℃), 若改由壓縮空氣(空壓 39.2-49.0MPa )通入,則昇至 603k ( 330 ℃)左右,且鑄件表面有明顯黏模現象。文中 並應用 MAGMAsoft 流體熱傳電腦模擬軟體輔助模具方案設計以建立各項製程參數, 其結果 再與實物進行比對,証實此項技術確獲得令人滿意之應用。 |
英文摘要 | Application of die casting process for industrial rapid and mass production has greatly increased. In the conventional die casting process, the molten metal is injected by moving plunger through a very thin section ingate and be transferred into the die cavity in the state of turbulent flow in a very short period of time. In the meantime, there exists a numerous gas holes and porosity, within and near the surface of the casting, arising from the turbulent flow which entraps the retained air in the cavity. Therefore, the solution heat treatment of the casting at elevated temperature will result in some blisters in the appearance of casting. It is a severe negative effect both on looking and on mechanical properties. In order to develop a heart treatable casting, two actual aluminum quick connect couplings used in transportation of liquids are tested by low speed die casting process in a conventional casting machine. This study is conducted to examine the effects of processing variables and the cooling media of core pin on properties of the castings. Additionally, the actual casting is also compared with the computational result that is done by MAGMAsoft simulation software to realize the differences between them. |
