中文摘要 | 就讀上海中國公學的少年胡適,發表在《競業旬報》上的文章,已經充分顯示出「胡適思想」的持色。其特點有三:一是進化信念,相信人類是可以進化而臻文明之境;二是對思想亦即思惟、推理、判斷能力的信心,相信人類進化的動力來自清明的思想能力;三是強調個人對社會的道德責任感。從本文可知,胡適思想定型甚早,且一脈相承,順勢發展而不矛盾。 ,得到537份回覆問卷。 針對高中與專科英語教學行政措施與課程規劃作比較分析,發現高中與專科在以下幾點有具體差異:1、學校行政單位對英語文教學重視程度;2、英語文教學單位使用教材的決策方式;3、上課時數;4、考試範圍與次數; 5、視聽課程規劃。高中英語教學在行政措施與課程規劃之各方面均優於專科,本文最後提出一些建議。 |
英文摘要 | It has been shown that there are big differences in English teaching between high schools and technological/vocational high schools in Taiwan. Furthermore, the English ability of their graduates differs greatly. To extend this finding, this paper explores the differences between high schools and junior colleges with regard to their English education policy and curriculum planning. Questionnaires were sent to English teachers of various high schools and junior colleges. This survey yielded 537 redplied samples. Detailed analysis is done on education policy and curriculum planning from these samples. It is found that major differences exist in the following areas: 1. emphasis on English education, 2.the process of curriculum planning, 3.frequency and course requirements of English classes, 4.language laboratory classes, 5.the scope and frequency of examinations. High schools are better than junior colleges in almost every aspect of education policy and curriculum planning for English teaching. Further suggestions are given to improve the English teaching system in junior colleges. |
