英文摘要 | Peat samples from the Toushe Basin have been analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS) for biomarkers. The analysis shows presence of n-alkanes, diterpanes, triterpanes and their unsaturated counterparts. The n- C□-n-C□ alkane series, with a predominance of C□, C□ and C□, is ubiquitous in all samples, suggesting that the peat is mainly composed of organic matter of terrestrial higher plants. Presence of n-C□ and alkanes in the samples at depths of 10-13, 18-20, and 27-37 m indicates contribution from phytoplankton or algae to the samples, and may therefore imply an aqueous depositional environment. Occurrence of tetracyclic triterpenoids and diterpenoids indicates contribution of terrestrial higher plants of angiosperms and gymnosperms, respectively. Tetracyclic triterpanes are much more dominant than diterpenoids, suggesting that angiosperms are the major source of organic matters for the peat. Presence of Podocarpaceae family of gymnosperms is confirmed based on the ubiquity and dominance of isopimarane and phyllocladane in the samples. Both tetracyclic triterpenoid and diterpenoid distributions show variations with depth, indicating a vegetational change of angiosperms and gymnosperms. The biomarker distributions, e.g., occurrence of 17 β(H), 21β(H) hopanes, 22R homohopane, and unsaturated tetracyclic and pentacyclic triterpenes, further indicate that the Toushe peat is still in an early diagenetic stage. |
