中文摘要 | 為降低四季秋海棠(Begonia semperflorens)花壇苗之生產成本及延長供應期,本試驗使用牛糞堆肥及砂為介質成分,探討混合介質對穴盤苗及盆花生長之影響,再輔以去頂更新處理及施用Cytokinins促進側芽萌發,取其插穗扦插,以供應苗株。 穴盤苗在七種供試介質中,以泥炭土處理者生長情形最佳,而添加適量牛糞堆肥則有助於地上部及地下部鮮重及乾重之累積,但當使用量超過1/3時,地上部生長不佳,根系發育不良,且以全量牛糞堆肥栽培者尤甚。盆花生產介質中,混合25-33%牛糞堆肥,則有促進盆花生長之效果,但使用全量牛糞堆肥仍不適宜。植株基部留6公分去頂再以TDZ (Thidiazuron) 1.5 mg/l或BA (Benzylaminopurine) 8.0 mg/l噴佈能顯著促進側芽之萌發。取4-6公分長之側芽為插穗,並以NAA (Napthaleneacetic acid)或IBA (Indole butyric acid) 0.025%為發根劑處理,可提高扦插成活率,且扦插成活苗株則可供應春及夏季草花之需求。 |
英文摘要 | To reduce the production cost of Begonia semperflorens and extend the available seasons of pot flowers, this paper first examined the manure and sand to influence the growth of potted begonia. Decapitated treatment and sprayed cytokinins for promoting lateral shoots and following inserted cuttings were invested. Among seven media, peat moss was found to be the best for the growth of shoot and root in Begonia. Appropriate amount of manure increased the fresh and dry weight. However, more than one-third manure in mix media would lead to decrease shoot and root production. When 100% manure was used, the growth condition of bedding plants was the worst. Beside, 25-33% manure could promote the growth of pot plants. 100% manure was not advantage for its growth. The application of TDZ 1.5mg/l or BA 8.0mg/l on decapitating-leaf-6cm plants could promote lateral buds significantly. Using 0.025% NAA or IBA for treatment 4 to 6 cm lateral buds as cuttings increased the rooting rates of cuttings. Rooted-cutting could supply the demands of pot plants in spring and summer. |
