中文摘要 | 本研究探討異徑雙輪式A1-6.35%Si連鑄薄片之凝固組織特徵與機械性質的關係。 晶出之第二相共晶矽具有顆粒和針狀二種形態:顆粒狀共晶矽晶組織分佈於柱狀晶-樹枝狀晶 區域和混合區域內,即接近薄片上、下表面;針狀共晶矽晶組織則分佈於薄片內的等軸晶區 域。 將薄片研磨以改變各個凝固組織區域的相對厚度百分比後,在室溫進行拉伸。拉伸結果 利用混合法則可推算出各個凝固組織區域的流應力值,此推算結果可用來預測薄片的流應 力。而各凝固組織區域的流應力值以等軸晶區域較高,而柱狀晶一樹枝狀晶區域和混合區域 的流應力值則相近。此外,等軸晶區域內針狀共晶矽的存在,是導致薄片的延伸率降低之主 要原因。 |
英文摘要 | Al-6.35wt % Si strip was produced by the unequal-diameter twin-rolly strip caster to study relationship between the solidification structure and tensile properties. The solidification structure reveals two morphologies of the eutectic silicon paricles, namely granular and acicular. The granular silcon particles are residing in the columnar-dendrite zone and mixed zone at the regions near the upper and lower surfaces. and acicular silicon particles are in the equiaxed cell zone at the center region. To conduct room temperature tensile test, the strip was ground to vary relative thickness fraction of the different solidification zones. The tensile data thus obtained were adopted to calculate the flow stress of each solidification zone according to the rule of mixtures. The results indicate that these calcuated values can be used to predict the flow stress of the strip. The current study also shows that the presence of acicular silicon particles in the equiaxed cell zone will reduce the tensile ductility. |
