| 英文摘要 | Chymotrypsin and dextran conjugated with poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG) of different molecular weights were tested for their enzymatic activity and degradability. PEG modified chymotrypsins degraded low molecular weight substrates at rates comparable to the native chymotrypsin. However, lower rates were observed for the modified chymotrypsin degrading synthetic high molecular weight substrates. Native albumin, as compared to azoalbumin, resisted degradation by both PEG modified chymotrypsins yet was readily cleaved by the native chymotrypsin. PEG modified dextrans were degraded by dextranase with lower rates as compared to the native dextran. The reduction of degradation rates were proportional to the extents of modification and the molecular weights of PEG. |
