中文摘要 | 本文以實驗方法針對PS塑料之縫合線,探討製程參數之影響,同時藉分子擴散理論在界面建立的行為模式,企求獲得一可預估縫合線強度的半經驗公式。實驗結果發現膠溫每增加10 ℃,約可提昇鍵結度0.042,其次,模溫每增加10 ℃,約可提昇鍵結度0.021,又隨射壓增加,強度平緩上昇,但達一定量後走緩,至於射速則使縫合強度下降。綜合數據分析,獲得一經驗公式可實際預估縫合線強度與膠溫、模溫和接觸時間的關係。此半經驗公式對射出成型件之CAE電腦模擬殘留應力、翹曲變形、甚至破裂的分析, 深具實用價值。 |
英文摘要 | The effects of processing parameters, such as melt temperature, mold temperature, injection speed and injection pressure, on the weld-line stregnth in injectionmolded polystyrene(PS)have been investigated both experimentally and theoretically. Experimental results showed that for every 10 ℃ rise in the melt temperature, a 4.2% increase in the degree of bonding for the weld-line would result, while only a 2.1% increase was observed as a result of the same amount of rise in mold temperature. As injection pressure was increased, the weld-line strength would increase somewhat and eventually level off. In contrast, as injection velocity was increased, the weld-line strength would decrease. Based on teh experimental results, a semi-empirical equation for the prediction of the weld-line strength as a function of melt temperature, mold temperature, and contact time of two melting fronts has been proposed by using a molecular diffusion theory applied to the bonding interface of the weld-line. This equation will be of practical use for the computer simulation of residual stress, deformation, distortion and even fracture in an injection-molded thermoplastics. |
