中文摘要 | 本研究之目的是探討飼料中添加精胺酸(Arginine)、醯胺麩胺酸(Glutamine)對感染抗甲基青黴素金黃色葡萄球菌(Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA)之BALB/c小白鼠,觀察其感染抵抗力之影響作用。實驗以20%酪蛋白(Casein)為基礎飼料(控制組,A組),而於基礎飼料中分別添加2%精胺酸(B組)、4%醯胺麩胺酸(C組)及2%精胺酸與4%醯胺麩胺酸(D組),作為試驗飼料。實驗開始第10天由小白鼠尾靜脈注射MRSA,經20天觀察其存活率,並將存活之小白鼠解剖作腎臟、脾臟之組織培養。結果發現A、B、C及D組之存活率分別為20%、60%、66%及80%,腎臟、脾臟之菌含量,B、C及D組皆有低於A組之傾向,但其重量測定均高於A組,尤其是脾臟有明顯之差異性存在(p<0.05)。由本研究結果而言,適量添加精胺酸、醯胺麩胺酸有增進小白鼠對菌感染之抵抗力。 |
英文摘要 | The object of this study was to investigate the effect of arginine and glutamine supplements on BALB/c mice infected with methicillin resistant Staphy-lococcus aureus (MRSA). The mice were randomly divided into 4 groups. Each group of mice was fed as follows: 20% casein diet (Control Group A), 20% casein diet supplemented with 200 arginine (Group B), 20% casein diet supplemented with 4% glutamine (Group C) and 20% casein diet supplemented with 20% arginine and 4% glutamine (Group D). After 10 days of feeding, each mouse was challenged with MRSA organisms intravenously. Twenty days later, the survival rate was recorded and pathological examinations were performed. The colony forming units (CFU) in the kidney and spleen of most of the surviving mice were determined. The result showed that A, B, C and D groups survival rates were 20%, 60%, 66% and 80%, respectively. For the CFU of kidney and spleen, groups B, C and D were lower than A, but had increased (p < 0.05) spleen weight. The conclusion is that a diet supplemented with arginine or glutamine would enhance resistance to the mice infected with MRSA. |
