中文摘要 | 本研究之目的是在探討飼料中添加精胺酸(Arginine)對感染抗甲基青黴素金黃色葡萄球菌(Methicillin resistant Staphylococus aureus,MRSA)之BALB/c小白鼠,觀察其感染抵抗力之影響作用。實驗以20酪蛋白(Casein)為基礎飼料(控制組,A組),而於基礎飼料中再添加2精胺酸(B組)及4精胺酸(C組)作為實驗飼料。實驗開始第10天由小白鼠尾靜脈注射MRSA,經20天觀察其存活率,並將存活之小白鼠解剖作腎臟、脾臟之組織培養。結果發現添加2精胺酸(B組)之死亡率有明顯降低之傾向(P<0.05)且脾臟重量有顯著性增加(p<0.05)。由本研究之結果發現飼料中適量添加精胺酸有增進小白鼠對菌感染抵抗力之作用。 |
英文摘要 | The object of this study was to investigate the effect of arginine supplements on BALB/c mice infected with methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The mice were randomly divided into 3 groups. Each group of micewas fed as follows: 20 Casein diet (Control Group A), 20 Casein diet supplemented with 2 arginine (Group B) and 20 Casein diet supplemented with iarginine (Group C). After 10 days of feeding, each mouse was challenged withMRSA organisms intravenously. 20 days later, the survival rate was recorded andanatomic examinations were performed. The colony forming units (CFU) in thekidney and spleen of most of the surviving mice were determined. The resultshowed that the diet with 2 arginine supplement significantly decreased (p<0.05) death rate but increased (p < 0.05) spleen weight. The conclusion was thata diet supplemented with arginine would enhance resistance to MRSA infection inthe mice. |
