中文摘要 | 汽油造成的引擎進閥積污問題對引擎性能與廢氣排放有頗大影響。 本文建立一實 驗室尺度積污生成模擬裝置以先導測試篩選可抑止進汽閥積污生成之添加劑。其主要原理在 於評估汽油液滴於油滴產生器控制下,滴落在均溫不�袗�熱平面上之積污生成現象,以高速 攝影技術觀察液滴蒸發生成積污的模式,定量的探討汽油組成與添加劑對油滴蒸發壽命曲線 與積污生成機構之影響。 本模擬裝置生成之積污薄膜用 FTIR、TGA、NMR 和 SEM 等儀器分 析其組成,同時探討添加劑對積污生成反應機構之影響。經實驗證實本模擬裝置與實驗提供 深一層了解積污生成物理與化學機構,並產生新的量測方式以評估篩選添加劑對去除積污的 效益,得知烷基酚( alkyl phenols )類型添加劑可有效抑止引擎進汽閥積污生成。 |
英文摘要 | The intake-valve deposits of gasoline engines can impair engine performance and exhaust emission. In this study, a laboratory-scale deposit simulator was developed to screen potential additives regarding their ability to inhibit deposit formation in an engine during the laboratory research stage. Principally, a deposit film was produced by forcing gasoline droplets from the droplet generator onto a heated stainless plate. High-speed photography was used to image the evaporation characteristics of the droplets on a heated surface. The effects of fuel composition and additives on deposit formation and on the evaporation lieftime of the droplets were quantitatively investigated. Various analytical techniques (FTIR, TGA, NMR, SEM) were utilized to characterize the deposit film composition. The results of the experiment indicated that the simulator analyses may provide another measure of the additive's effectiveness and further insight into deposit formation mechanisms. Alkyl phenol type additives were found to prevent formation of gasoline deposits. |
