英文摘要 | This research aims to establish orbital forging technology and to forge motorcycle ratchet forgings by this process. The major work of this research includes:(1)Forgings/die design for orbital forging process (2)forging trial and estiamtion of forging parameters.(3)Quality examination for ratchet forgings. The results reveal that:(1)The precision of ratchet forgings can reach ISO IT 12 grade; the surface roughness can reach Ra0.7-0.8um, and the teeth need no more machining.(2)The forging load is only 140 tons. for orbital forging process and this is about 1/5-1/6 the forging load for conventional cold forging process. (3)Spiral motion mode is better than circular motion mode in getting clear teeth's shape for ratchet forgings. |
