英文摘要 | This ressarch aims to establish orbital forging technology and to forge motorcycle gear forgings by this process. The major work of this research includes: (1)Forging and die design for orbital forging process. (2)Forging trial and estimation of forging parameters. (3)Quality evaluation for forgings. The results reveal that: (1)The precision of gear forgings can reach ISO IT 12 grade, the teech area needs no more machining and in both height and width direction of forgings the machiing amount required are less than 0.2mm. (2)The forging load for gear forgings is only 140 tons. by orbital forging process and this is about 1/3∼1/5 the forging load for conventional cold forging process. (3)The crack is likely to induced in the corner of teeth, in case the radius of corner is less than 1 mm, owing to extra high tangent force acting on the teeth. |
