中文摘要 | 本試驗以1、3與5年生之巨竹為材料、首先進行生長性質(包括節間長,稈徑與稈壁厚)之測定,再以適當之竹稈高度截取竹筒後,分別測定氣乾比重、收縮率、硬度與靜曲強度。由試驗結果得知巨竹之節間長、稈徑與稈壁厚受齡級之影響不明顯,且3種不同齡級巨竹之生長性質隨高度變化之情形相近。巨竹竹材之氣乾比重、硬度與靜曲強度較明顯地受齡級之影響,而收縮率則否。同時各齡級中竹材靜曲強度隨稈高之變化情形與氣乾比重者相似,且其靜曲強度均與比重呈正直線關係。 |
英文摘要 | Culm materials of giant bamboo (Dendrocalamus giganteus) at the ages of one-, three-, and five-year-old were used for the study. Tests on the growth features, namely, internode length, diameter, and wall thickness of bamboo culm cross section were made and then the specific gravity, shrinkage rate, hardness, and static bending strength properties of the bamboo materials at different culm heights were determined. The experinental results indicated that the effect of age class on the length of culm internode and the diameter as well as wall thickness of culm cross section was not significant. Furthermore, variations of the growth features along height positions of bamboo culm for the three age classes were mostly similar. Specific gravity, hardness, and static bending strength of the bamboo materials were significantly affected by the age of bamboo growth, whereas the shrinkage property was not significant. Among the age classes, variations of MOR values with height positions of bamboo culms were quite similar to the specific gravity variations. In general, a positive linear relationship between specific gravity and static bending strength was observed for all the cases studied. |
