英文摘要 | The size and distribution (polydispersity) of vesicles and micelles were measured by employing a quasielastic light-scattering (QLS) technique in tauroursodeoxycholate (TUDC)-lecithin (L)-cholesterol (Ch) solutions at different values of Ch thermodynamic activity (A). At A = 0.57, vesicles were stable up to 50 days because of nearly constant size and polydispersity. Moreover, total intensity scattered by vesicles was nearly unchanged up to 50 days, indicating a constant vesicle concentration (∼3%) relative to the total lipid concentration. Furthermore, the solution, at A =0.46, was in the micellar phase up to 50 days. The stability of vesicles in a 40+40-32 mM TUDC+taurochenodeoxycholate (TCDC)-L system was also investigated and found that, at A =0.97 (Ch=11 mM), vesicles represented only 2.4 % of the total lipid, and behaved nearly the same as those in an 80-32 mM TUDC-L system. These results indicate that mixed micelles played an important role in the solubilization of Ch in bile containing ursodeoxycholate and its conjugates. |
