中文摘要 | 本研究擬探討一些製程參數,如:塗層濃度、塗層次數、塗層乾燥方法等對於塗 層厚度均勻、塗層沾附狀況、塗層透氣性及模型壓縮量等之影響,以尋求最佳參數組合,建 立消失模型鑄造法之塗層技術。 實驗採用 EPC 專用耐火塗層材料, 調配不同濃度 (共 11 組 ) 之塗層漿液,對於不同形狀尺寸的保利龍模型 (五種 ), 施以塗層後,再進行各項塗 層性質及模型被壓縮量等之測試。根據研究結果顯示,平均塗層厚度隨塗層漿液濃度 (比重 ) 或塗層次數的增加而增加。 第二道及第三道塗層所增加的厚度約為第一道塗層厚度之 1.5-2 倍。最適當的塗層漿液比重介於 1.41g/cm �� - 1.56g/cm �臚孜﹛C塗層在乾燥過程 中,模型旋轉者所得到之塗層厚度較大,且分佈較未旋轉者為均勻。具有內角隅之模型,其 沾附狀況極不均勻,且隨塗層厚度之增大,而在中央處有沾附不完全及塗層裂痕發生。塗層 之透氣性隨塗層厚度或塗層次數之增加而降低。此外,經塗層後之模型,其被壓縮量極微, 例如:在 50cm 高之乾砂壓重下,一次塗層之模型壓縮量只介於 0.006mm 和 0.032mm 之間 。 |
英文摘要 | Applying a refractory coating on the polystyrene patterns is a very important procedure during the molding process of the Evaporative Pattern Casting (EPC). This experiment intends to establish a data base for the pattern coating in the EPC process. The effects of some parameters, including the concentration of coating slurry, number of coating layers applied, and coating drying method, on the thickness and uniformity of coatings, and the permeability of coatings were studied. Also, the extent of depression of coated patterns under various loads were invetigated. The experimental results indicate that the average coating thickness of a pattern increases as the concentration (or specific weight) of coating slurry or the number of coating layer increases. However, for multiple-layer-coatings, the increment in coating thickness for the second and the third layers are higher than the thickness of the first coating by a factor of 1.5 to 2. The optimal concerntration (or specific weight) of coating slurry has been found to be within 1.41g/cm �� and 1.56g/cm �� by considering the feasibility of coating application. Also, a pattern that was rotated during the drying process results in a thicker coating and a more uniform distribution of coating thickness than that without rotation. For patterns with sharp angles, the adhesion of coating slurry at the tip appears quite nonuniform, showing a much thicker coating at some locations, while a depression at other locations. The extent of nonuniformity increases with a decrease in degree of angles. The permeability of a coating is reduced as the concentration of coating slurry of the number of coating layer is increased. Furthermore, the compressive deformation of the coated patterns is quite minute under the practical loading range in molding. |
