英文摘要 | The use of aluminide diffusion coating on aircraft gas turbine blades and vanes haspermitted higher operating temperatures and greatly increased times between engine overhauls. However, extended exposure times at high temperature lead to coating degradationas a result of aluminium diffusion, both to the surface and into the substrate. The reductionin aluminium content results in the formation of NisAl, which has poor oxidation resistanceand can result in rapid penetration of the coating. These microstructural changes are likelyto influence the mechanical properties of the coating. A "rule of mixtures" approach hasbeen used to evaluate the mechanical properties of these degraded coatings. The predictedroom temperature values of yield strength and failure strain for Ni�蚊l are 172 MPa and11 respectively. |
