英文摘要 | This paper presents a train movement simulator and its application to analyzing the practical minimum headway for Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit (KMRT) orange line. First, the paper shows how the characteristics of a rail line, the motion capabilities of a motor vehicle, and the control functions of a railway signal system can be integrated in a simulation model. Hence, the model is able to inivestigate the effects of any change in these factors on railway operations. After that, some results of an empirical study for KMRT orange line are presented to show the practical relationship between minimum headway and train delay. |
