英文摘要 | The objective of this experiment is intended to produce the Newcastle disease living vaccine in Paraguay. Ten days old SPF eggs were used for inoculation of B �� strain or Lasota strain. After a 72-hour virus multiplication, the alantoic fluid was collected, to which 20% lactose and 3% PVP were added as proper medium for lyophilization as living vaccine. The las and 2nd batch vaccine were applied to approximate 500 laying hens per batch, respectively, at the National University of Asuncion farm. Results showed that the HI titers in laying bens after inoclation of produced Newcastle disease vaccine were relative high. It suggested that the Newcastle disease immunity ability may improved. Also, the vaccine of 100 doses per vial is considered suitable packing size for rural Paraguay, as farmers were usually keep fowls in small numbers. |
