英文摘要 | Coagulase-negative enterotoxigenic strains of Staphylococcus warneri CC RC 12929 and S. haemolyticus CCRC 12923 grew well in cow milk and goat milk. S. warneri produced SEA and SED in both cow milk and goat milk. A higher amount (14.80 ng/ml) of SEA was produced in goat milk by this organism. On the other hand, S. haemolyticus produced only SED in goat milk or cow milk. A relatively higher amount (10.12 ng/ml) of SED was produced in goat milk than in cow milk.It was also found that 37 ° C was the optimum temperature for growth and enterotox in production for the two test organisms. The time course of growth and enterotoxin production for S. warneri in both kinds of milk also revelaed that enterotoxin production reached a maximum between the late log phase and the early stationary phase. furthermore, it was also found that the presence of Lactobacillus bulgraicus in cow milk inhibited the growth of S. warneri and its enterotoxin production. |
