中文摘要 | 本試驗探討在不同土壤水份含量狀況下盤固草之再生能力及產量和成分之變化。土壤水份含量分A(pF 2.5~2.3)、B(pF 2.1~1.7)及C(pF <1.5)三處理,調查盤固草長期生長於此土壤水份含量狀態下對其產量與成分之影響。試驗初期三處理間盤固草生長情形並無顯著差異,顯示盤固草對土壤水份含量有較大範圍之忍受力,隨處理時間越久,處理A之盤固草株高及乾物產量均顯著降低,植株提早開花,易老化變黃,處理C之盤固草株高雖未顯著受影響,然A254品系乾物產量較處理B為低,顯示盤固草長期生長於土壤水份過於乾旱或濕潤狀態下,並不利於盤固草生長。化學成分方面以B及A處理較佳,但處理間差異並未達顯著水準。本試驗結果顯示,保持土壤水份含量在pF 2.1~1.7(-0.165~-0.065 bar)為最適合盤固草生長。 |
英文摘要 | The objectives of this experiment were to determine the effects of different levels of soil moisture on forage yield and chemical composition of pangolagrass (Digitaria decumbens Stent). Three levels of soil moisture, i.e., pF 2.5~2.3 (-0.4~-0.26 bar), pF 2.1~1.7 (-0.165~-0.065 bar) and pF<1.5 (>-0.04 bar) were used and expressed as treatment A, B and C, respectively. Pangolagrass, strains A24 and A254, were planted in the greenhouse and watered by hand to adjust the soil moisture to the required levels. No significant differences in plant heights and forage yields were observed among treatments during the earlier stage of the experiment. After treating for 3 months, the plans with treatment A bloomed earlier and the leaves became yellow. Both plant height and forage yield of pangolagrass were affected by water deficit or excess. It showed that pangola-grass produced the highest forage yield when the soil moisture level was kept at pF 2.1~1.7. |
