英文摘要 | Due to rapid progress in power electronics, more and more energy is transmittedat nonsinusoidal voltage and current. The measurement of energy fed to electronicallysupplied machines can present problems if suitable meters are not used. The differences ranging from 6 to 20 between energy measured by different equipments werefound. When the supply waveforms become nonsinusoidal, complication arises as thereappears to be no fixed definition for quadergy and power factor. Whilst there may belittle scope for improving the performance of a Ferraris meter under such conditions,there is every opportunity for electronic meters to be designed with an appropriatebalance between cost and performance. In nonsinusoidal situation, Ferraris meterstend to overread the energy account. Various definitions for quadergy and power factorin nonsinusoidal situation were discussed in this paper. And the comparison results ofvarious definitions obtained from computer simulation were presented. The possiblemaximum errors in energy measured by electronic meter for nonsinusoidal waveformswere also shown. |
