英文摘要 | Forty-four crossbred pigs (avg. initial wt 6.28kg) were weaned at 4 wk of age. A 2x2 factorial arrangement of postweaning diets was used to investigate growth performance, digestive tract weights, and jejunal morphological measurements at day 7 and 14 postweaning. Four dietary treatments were to evaluate the effects of complex or simple protein type with or without lysine. Results indicated that there are no interactive effects between protein type and lysine source for performance and intestinal structure. Dietary protein type did not significantly affect growth performance for either period. Daily gain during day 0-7 postweaning was significantly (P< .05) higher for pigs fed with lysine than those fed without lysine. Pigs fed simple diet had singificantly (P< .05) heavier large intestine at day 14 postweaning than pigs fed complex diet. Crypt depth at day 7 postweaning was significantly (P< .05) deeper and at day 14 postweaning tended to be shorter (P< .10) for groups fed added lysine. The weight of digestive tracts increased subsequently after weaning. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy demonstrated long, uniform villi and microvilli on the jejunal at weaning, with markedly reduced length on day 7 postweaning. Villus height increased subsequently by day 14 postweaning, but did not recover to the height at weaning. The data indicate that dietary protein type appeared to be an important factor affecting digestive tract development of newly-weaned pigs. Dietary lysine supplementation resulted in increased growth and changes in the development of jejunal villus. |
