中文摘要 | 本研究旨在比較中英兩國轉型中的小學師資職前培育方案,在方法上以文件分析和 晤談蒐集資料,用紮根理論(Grounded Theory)所推薦的持續性比較(Constant Comparison)為據 略來分析資料。在詮釋學的方法論基礎之上整個研究可視為中英對話以尋求視野的整合 (Fusion of Horizons)。此外本研究嘗試突破過去比較教育研究偏重系統面的窠臼,由巨觀層面 的探討邁條乃觀,換言之兼顧系統╱官方資料的排比和有血有肉的實際面向。 本研究先行探討中英兩國職前師資培育方案的比較基礎,而後從三個面向來展開比較, 分別是: 文化與歷史 管理 教學 比較教育的研究成果雖然無法直接運用於政策之上,然而惟有透過比較我們才能更清楚 地了解自己的特色,並進而醞釀出知己知彼的智慧。 |
英文摘要 | This study aims to investigate and compare the initial teacher education programmes in England and Taiwan. On the method level, unstructured interview as well as documentary analysis have been employed and constant comparison has been used to analyses data. Hermeneutics is the methodologically underlying of this study. Therefore, inviting dialogue between England and Taiwan in order to reach fusion of horizons is the core of this study. This study starts from the search of comparability of these two systems and then moves to the discourse of distinction. The dimensions emerged for comparison include historical and cultural dimension, management dimension as well as pedagogical dimension. The convergence and divergence of these two systems are the foci of this research. Therefore, this piece of work cannot delve into the issues of method and methodology. In sum , this study gives an up-to-date picture of initial teacher education programmes in a period of dramatic change in both England and Taiwan. Furthermore, it goes beyond the macro-level and penetrates the micro-level to challenge the state of comparative education studies. It is hoped that a comparative perspective in this work will help us to look beyond our intellectual borders as well as national borders and deepen our understanding of our own education and society. |
