中文摘要 | 本研究的目的為:1.探討STS教學是否有助於培學生的科學創造力,2.探討教師、學生、家長對STS教學之態度,3.探討都會文教區與商業區實施STS教學之差異。首先,參考筆者研究發展的「培育能提高國小學生解決問題能力教師」之師資培育模式,針對目前國小自然科部份單元,輔導國小教師研究設計開放式之教學活動,提供學生多元、多角度思考及多元問題解決方式之情境,養學生之科學創造力。本研究設計的教學活動,包括一般學生所要學習的單元內容,採取融入的模式而開發出來的教學活動。利用開放式之創造力測驗,評估其成效。本研究所要探討的甲、乙個案學校,甲校為臺北市文教區,乙校為商業區。結果發現:甲校STS學生在「創造力測驗」中的四個分向度及總分均顯著的高於非STS班級,這顯示STS教學較一般教學有助於對創造力的培育。乙校換受STS教學的學生在流暢力、獨創力、變通力三部份平均得分及總分部分,也較傳統教學為高。由參加本研整二位STS教學教師、兩位學生及家長填寫的問卷中,肯定STS這種自然科的教學方法。都會文教區家長傾向支持教師教學改革,所以實行新的教學法較受支持,學生學習成就較高,對自然科的態度也較為正向。 |
英文摘要 | The purposes of this study were to probe: 1.the effect of STS teaching for cultivating creativity in elementary science class, 2.the attitude toward STS teaching held by teachers, students and parents, 3.the difference of implementation of STS teaching between business and culture district in Taipei urban area. Firstly according to the researcher's experiences during 1995 through 1998, the researcher guided elementary science teachers to design STS module was blended the content of the text for general students. The instrument used to assess students' creativity was an open-ended test. The evaluation was carried out bye starting with a scenario. Students were asked to write as many ideas applicable to the situation as possible. These responses were assessed by both the quantity and quality of students' idea. The study showed that STS students at culture area got significant higher scores than general students in all parts of creativity test. The students at business district got high scores than general students on fluency, originality, flexibility and total score. Therefore, STS teaching was helpful for cultivating students' creativity. Teachers, students and parents' questionnaires showed that they help positive attitude toward STS teaching. The parents at culture district supported STS more strongly than those at business district. Therefore, their children's got significant higher creativity scores and held more positive attitude toward STS teaching. |
