中文摘要 | 本文以聚乙烯對苯二甲酸酯( poly(ethylene terephthalate), PET )與已商業 化全芳香族主鏈型液晶共酯聚合物( Vectra A90 )進行熔融摻合(重量組成由 10%-80% ); 以結晶溫度及 Vectra A900 組成為研究參數, 利用微差掃描卡計( Differetial Scanning Calorimetry, DSC )及全反射式傅立葉紅外線光譜儀( Attenuated Total Reflectance Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (ATR/FTIR) )為工具, 探討聚 乙烯對苯二甲酸酯之熱,結晶行為及交換酯化現象,由研究結果顯示,聚乙烯對苯二甲酸酯 之結晶速率隨 Fectra A900 含量增加而減小,當 Vectra A900 達 40% 以上, 組成對結晶 速率影響則加劇,由數據獲得 Avrami 速率常數 (k) 及 Avrami 係數 (n) 顯示速率常數受 Vectra A900 組成影響,而 Avrami 係數為 3 且與 Vectra A900 組成無關,顯然聚乙烯對 苯二甲酸酯之結晶機構不因 Vectra A900 介入而受影響。由平衡熔點( T �o°)數據知, 在組成 10% 及 20% 時平衡熔點( T �o°)與組成無關,然而當組成達 40% 以上則平衡熔 點( T �o°)明顯下降, 由紅外線光譜圖, 顯示在本研究條件下並無交換酯化現象( Transesterification )發生, 總合結果可解釋為聚乙烯對苯二甲酸酯與 Vectra A900 間 存在某種程度之交互作用力,此結果與先前固態核磁共振光譜及熱值研究結果相符。 |
英文摘要 | Blends of poly (ethylene terephthalate) (PET) with a commercial, wholly aromatic liquid crystalline copolyester (Vectra A900) have been prepared by melt-blending methods (10%-80% w/w). The crystallization behavior of PET was investigated as a function of crystallization temperature and Vectra A900 composition by differential scanning calorimetery (DSC) under isothermal conditions. It has been found that blending PET with Vectra A900 leads to a reduction in crystallization rate, and this decrease becomes more pronou-nced when the concentration of Vectra exceeds 40%. Crystallization rate constants and the Avrami exponents were calculated by utilizing Avrami-type expression. The results show that the crystallization rate constants (k) are dependent on the Vectra A900 concentration, but the Avrami exponents (n) are independent of the Vectra A concentration. The equilibrium melting temperature (T �o° ) does not depend on the Vectra A900 at the compositions of 10% and 20%. However, It evidently decrease when the concentration of Vectra A900 reaches 40% or more. Attenuated Total Reflectance Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (ATR/FTIR) measurements show that the transesterification reaction does not take place in the blends. The results are interpreted in terms of a scenario in which there is some interaction between the polymers. This scenario agrees with the solid-state NMR and thermal data of previous studies. |
