英文摘要 | This work aims to investigate the static fracture behavior of the through-the thickness arbitrarily oriented single-edged crack in 6063 aluminum alloy plates. The important part of our study is focused on experimental determinations of stress intensity factors(SIF's) and the data are correlated well with numerical and theoretical analysis in comparison. The specimen dimensions and crack length and width are made according to standards of ASTM(A370-92 and E740-88). The total crack length of each mode corresponding to the applied load is recorded and measured. The correlation of SIF's between the empirical work, and the numerical finite element method can be found satisfactorily good. The J-intergral is also calculated in the consideration of crack tip plastic zone not negligible small and elastoplasic fracture mechanics (EPEM) should be concerned. Except the shape of single-edge crack, the geometry factors include the crack oblique angles and finite width ratio. For each specific inclined angle the cuve of geometry factor β versus finite width ratio is obtained. |
