中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討台北市公立幼稚園及國小一年級構音障礙幼童及一般幼 童自我概念之差異情形。並探討幼童的性別、年級、幼童之母親的教育程度,以 及接受構音矯治對幼童自我概念的影響。 研究對象為120名構音障礙幼童及120名一般幼童。年齡自五歲兩個月至八足歲。 此兩組研究對象係取自台北市12個行政區內,設有特殊教育資源班之公立國小及 附設幼稚園。研究工具採用美國喬瑟夫學前及國小中低年級學童自我概念量表 (JPPSST)。 蒐集所得資料經one-way ANOVA,one-way MANOVA,及t-test進行資料分析,主要 研究結果,歸納為下列幾點: 1.不論幼稚園或小學一年級之一般幼童,在普通能力及生活滿意度之自我概念向 度均較優於構音障礙之幼童。 2.母親其中等教育之幼童,其自我概念之平均數高於母親具高等教育之幼童。 3.就總體而言,構音障礙幼童及一般幼童之自我概念總平均數,均落在JPPSST分 類表中適度的、正面的範圍。 4.本研究發現,在喬瑟夫自我概念量表(JPPSST)約五個分測驗中,48.33之幼童平均 數落在十分積極的自我概念:30.83之幼童平均數落在尚稱積極的自我概念;3.75之 幼童平均數落在未明顯顯示自我概念;6.67之幼童平均數落在負面的自我概念;其 餘10.42之幼童平均數落在高危險群。 5.觀察兩組自我概念分數分佈圖,發現在低水平分類區,顯示構音障礙幼童之人 數與自我概念分數不成比例。在高水平分類區,顯示一般幼童之人數與自我概念 分數不成比例。 根據研究結果,本文提出對未來研究之建議。包括擴大研究層面至台灣城鄉地區, 以及探討其他可能影響幼童自我概念發展之相關因素。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to examine the self-concept of children with articulation disorders (AD) and those with normal articulation (NA) in Taipei, the Republic ofChina, at the public kindergarten and first grade level. The following variables wereexamined: self-concept, children with AD and children with NA, levels of maternaleducation, gender, grade level, and influence of remediation. "The subjects consisted of 120 children with AD and 120 children with NA rangingin age from five years two months to eight years of age. These two groups of subjectswere selected from public elementary schools which provide special education resourceservices for all of the twelve school districts in the Taipei area. The instrument used in this study was the Joseph Pre-School and Primary SelfConcept Screening Test (JPPSST) (Chinese version). Hypotheses were tested using oneway ANOVA, one-way MANOVA, and t-test analysis. The following findings are reported: 1. Children with NA had higher Competence and General Evaluative Contentmentscores than did children with articulation disorders. 2. Children of mothers with a "middle" level of educational attainment had signficantly higher total mean self-concept scores than children of mothers with a "high" level of educational attainment. 3. Across all categories by which subjects were grouped, the total mean scores fellwithin the moderate positive range of the JPPSST. 4. In the five classification categories of the JPPSST, this finding showed that 48.33 fell into the high positive self-concept range; 30.83 fell into the moderate positiveself-concept range: 3.75 fell into the range of watch list: 6.67 fell into the range ofpoor: 10.42 fell into the range of high risk negative. 5. Some tendency for AD subjects to be disproportionate, represented at the lowerlevel of the JPPSST, and for normal articulation subjects to be disproportionately represented at the upper level was also observed. Recommendations for further research include expansion of this study into othergeographic areas of Taiwan and investigations of other factors, possibly related to selfconcept development in young children. |
