中文摘要 | 本研究乃延續林震岩在民國79年的調查,針對此研究的樣本,再次寄出相同問卷進行調查,以瞭解三年來EUC之發展與變化,故為縱斷面的實證研究,這在資訊管理學術領域中,此類型的研究是相當少的。 有關資訊應用特性與組織特性方面,本研究發現前期與本期之變化,整體而言差異並不大,但仍有許多有趣的變化,將在本文中深入討論。例如:EUC使用人數的增加,多部門使用的資訊應用、資訊應用發展的層級、中高階主管發展資訊應用的比率皆顯著提高。 在本期策略群與績效闕係方面,檢定結果發現不論是滿意/自主或教率/效果指標都有明顯的差異,這與前期的研究有所不同,將在文中深論。 在策略勢態與績效關係方面,本研究將策略勢態分為強化型、穩定型與放鬆型三類。檢定結果發現策略勢態對績效的影響中,僅有對滿意/自主的外顯績效達到顯著差異,而內隱的效率/效果指標,雖未達顯著水準,但強化型的樣本公司所獲致的績效有較高的傾向,放鬆型有較低的傾向。有關本研究的管理涵義,亦將在本文深入討論。 |
英文摘要 | This research foIlows the previous survey of Jan-Yan Lin 1990. The population of this research are samples of Lin'ssurvey. The same questionnaire was mailed. The purpose of this research is to understand the development and change of End-User Computing (EUC). Therfore this research is a longitudinal research. There is very Iittleof this kind of research in the academic area of MIS. The findings of this reasearch are that there are no significant differences and hanges in the characteristics of developed-application and organization, but there are many interesting changes that wiIl be deeply dissused, i. e., the users of EUC, the appIications used by multidepartment, and the ratio of higher-level manager developed applications are aIl increased significantly. The result of this research also reveals that EUC strategies not only affect the performance dimensions of efficiency/effectiveness", but also significantly affect the "satisfaction/independence". The different findings with the previous research wi1l discussed. Concerning the relationship between the EUC changing strategy with performance, this research finds that the EUC changing strategy can be divided into three types, i. e., improved, unchanged, and discouraged. The result of this research also reveals that the EUC changing strategy significantIy affect the explicit performance of satisfaction/independence. On the other hand, the EUC changing strategy has no significant inftuence on the dimension of implicit efficiency/effectiveness. But the performance level of the improved strategy appears to be the highest, while the discouraged strategy takes the lowest. The impIication of this finding is thoroughly drscussed. |
