英文摘要 | Humanistic Geography is a new field from the traditional physical geography and human geography. The term of Humanistic Geography comes from "Humanism". During the European Renaissance Period, humanism was a philosophy that asserts the dignity and worth of man and his capacity for self-realization through reason and that often rejects supernaturalism. Confucianism and Taoism in traditional China were also considered as humanism with the attitude and way of life centered on human interests and values. However, the Chinese humanistic practice seemed to be eliminated after a metaphysical doctrine had been developed in Sung Dynasty. Humanistic Geography may be served as a study approach to reestablish the humanistic spirit in the modern Chinese society. |
