英文摘要 | This experiment was conducted to evaluate the level of dietary cod liver oil/corn oil (2:1 w/w) mixture needed for maximum weight gain of juvenile tiger prawn, Penaeus monodon. Seven isoenergetic and isonitrogenous semi-purified diets, with levels ranging from 0 to 10% in 2% increments and one diet designed to contain 11.3%, were evaluated with juvenile tiger prawn. After 63 days, prawns fed diets containing 4, 6, 8, 10 or 11.3% lipid had significantly higher percent weight gain than those fed other diets. Survival rate of prawn ranged from 52 to 83% for all treatment groups. A dietary lipid level ranging from 4 to 11.3%, under a narrow range of dietary lipid: carbohydrate ratios, appears to be satisfactory indicating that juvenile tiger prawn do not require a specific level of dietary lipid. |
