中文摘要 | 臺灣泡桐,木油桐,杉木及柳杉四種木材之三公分厚板材以高溫乾燥及傳統窯乾 處理,比較其乾燥時間,乾燥材瑕疵,物理及機械性質之變化,以評估兩種作法之效益。試 驗顯示結果如下: 1.高溫乾燥其板材間之含水率差異大,以致均勻處理時間長,可能使總能量消耗高於傳統 窯乾。 2.杉木及柳杉之高溫乾燥材於近髓心部位有潰陷及蜂巢裂出現,而傳統窯乾則可抑制之。 3.四種木材之抗劈裂及衝擊強度均以高溫乾燥者較弱。靜力抗彎破壞係數,彈性係數,縱 向壓力,順紋抗張及縱切面硬度諸力學強度之優劣於兩種乾燥處理方法之間隨樹種而異。 4.兩種乾燥法對板材寬度及厚度收縮率之影響也隨樹種而異。 5.四樹種之高溫乾燥處理材其平衡含水率均低於傳統窯乾者。 |
英文摘要 | Paired samples of four species of fast-growing tree, 3cm thick lunber, were dried with hightemperature drying (HTD) and conventional kiln drying (CKD) to compare drying quality, changes in physical and mechanical properties, and so on, with this information available, a lumber prosess will be able to ascertain if one method is suitable the another. Information gathered in this report lead to the following conclusions: 1. The moisture distribution within and between boards varied greatly in high temperature kilns. Longer equalizing treatment time was required than conventional kiln drying did. 2. Much energy consumption was required in the longer equalizing treatment of high-temperature drying, some times even caused the total energy consumption higher than that conventional kiln drying required. 3. Homeycomb and collapse were noted near the area of pith of China-fir and Japanese fir, while the wood were high temperature dried. 4. Taiwan Paulownia, conventional kiln drying, showed higher values in MOR and MOE of static bending, compression parallel to grain. These mentioned mechanical properties of Wood oil tree, China-fir, and Japanese fir, changed by the different drying methods, were varied among species. The cleavage and impact bending value all decreased while the four species of wood were dried with high temperature. 5. The shrinkage ratio of width and thickness of boards changed between different drying methods without a regular rule among different species. 6. High-temperature drying decrease the EMC of dried wood. |
