中文摘要 | 本研究主張,不論以母語或任何第二國語文,閱讀應被視為一種交互作用 的過程。此過程可分為兩部份: (1)讀者和正文內容的作用 (2)語文性及非語文性知識的互動 讀者在重組作者的訊息時,也在同時傳達了內文意義並進一步解釋此一訊 息。這個過程是經由讀者本身的語文能力及其個人背景知識組合而達成。 本研究將從有關閱讀理解力的一般討論開始,繼之以回顧有關第二國語文 閱讀型式的部份研究,並提供實際教學上的建議。 |
英文摘要 | This paper contends that reading, whether in a first or second language, is an interactive process in two senses: 1) between reader and test, and 2) between linguistic and nonlinguistic knowledge. Readers attempt to reconstruct an author's message, but, at the same time, impart meaning to the text and elaborate upon that message. They accomplish this through linguistic competence and background knowledge. This paper begins with a general discussion of comprehension and then reviews some relevant research in second language reading. Finally, it offers practical suggestions for the teaching of second language reading. |
