中文摘要 | 本研究以台農2號鐘麻為試驗材料,探討桿及粗麻之纖維形態及化學組成,再以六種桿/粗麻混合比進行硫酸鹽法製漿,以了解其蒸解製漿特性及製漿條件對紙張性質之影響。鐘麻桿及粗麻纖維形態明顯區分為兩型,前者短而寬,纖維長寬比為30,後者長而細,長寬比達139。粗麻全纖維素含量高於桿部者,而木質素則反之。灰分及其他可溶性萃取物兩者均高於木材。綜合評估,鐘麻為一優良的製漿材料,尤以粗麻原料為是。以100%桿部製漿者,紙漿收率最低,添加固定比例之粗麻,收率逐漸上升至100%粗麻者最高,且卡巴值最低。因之製漿時,若能添加適當比例之粗麻,當對紙漿收率及卡巴值有利,本試驗三種用鹼量中,以17%者效果最佳。粗麻含量愈多,紙張嵩度愈高。強度性質則與纖維種頸、比例及用鹼量有密切關係:粗麻比例增加則強度增大。於各項力學強度中除撕裂強度外,均隨用鹼量之增加而提升。至於白度性質與原料種類及用鹼量有關,粗麻含量愈多,用鹼量愈、高則紙張白度較高。綜合上述各項性質顯示,製漿時,宜將鐘麻桿部與粗麻以適當比例混合之,則其硫酸鹽紙漿之性質與針葉材硫酸鹽漿者十分近似,實係極有潛力之漿紙原料。 |
英文摘要 | In order to explore the difference in pulping properties of two different parts of kenaf, Tainung #2 kenaf was used as a raw materials in this study. Core and crude kenaf fibers were characterized for their extremely different fiber dimensions and chemical compositions. Six core/crude kenaf mixtures were defiberized with kraft process to examine their pulpability and pulp properties. Analyses indicated that crude kenaf was composed of longer and slenderer fiber than those of the core part. Crude kenaf also showed higher holocellulose and lower lignin content than that of core. It is obvious that kenaf is perfectly adequate for pulping purpose. Pulp yield increased with increasing crude kenaf ratio and descreased with increasing active alkali. Pulp properties also increased with increasing crude kenaf (long fiber) ratio. The 100% crude kenaf showed, of course, the highest value, in strength. As pulp yield, kappa number and pulp properties were simultaneously considered, 17% active alkali appeared to be the optimum cooking charge in this study. If adequate machinery is available for the automatic separation of crude kenaf and core part, it is recommended that defferent ratio be used for different final utilization of paper products. |
