中文摘要 | 經適當熱處理之M2工具綱組織中可發現含二種碳化物。第一種係以 (Fe,W,Mo)為主,(Cr,V,Si)為輔之碳化物,呈球狀(~<3μ)均勻分佈,佔95以上; 第二種係以(V)為主,(Mo,Cr,W,Fe)為輔之碳化物,呈板狀(厚1~2μ,寬6~15μ), 含量微少。 此材料在承受0.75破壞應力下,仍無可偵測之變形。在此以上時,大塊M�睜型碳 化物首先在與拉力軸向相互垂直方向上開始破裂,其次為球形之M�睜及長條狀 之MC碳化物產生龜裂,其裂縫成長速率極慢,常停頓於碳化物本身或碳化物與 基地的界面上。但裂縫可藉由回火麻田散鐵晶體界面間傳播,在無預警的局部塑 性變形下,裂縫迅速串聯而導致破斷。 M2材料在破壞時,釋放大量的彈性應變能量,使其彈性應變遠高於塑性應變。 這與上述碳化物之存在關係不太,主要源於堅韌之回火麻田散鐵基地之特性。 |
英文摘要 | There are two kinds of carbides in M2 tool steel after properly heat-treating. The first one mainly comprised of (Fe, W, Mo) with little (Cr, V, Si), is uniformally distributed in spherical shape (~<3μ)and the amount is up to 95. The second one mainly comprised of (V) with little (Mo, Cr, W, Fe), appear as a plate shape (thickness 1~2μm, width 6~15μm) and a small amount. No plastic deformation can be observed when the M2 tool steel is loaded to 0.75 σf, where σf is the fracture stress. After σ>0.75 σf, M�睜 carbides starts to fracture in the direction perperdiularto the loading axis. Subsequently, spherically shaped M�� C and plate shaped MC carbides start to crack. The crack propogate rate is very slow and ceases at the carbide itself or at the interface between carbideand matrix. But cracks can propagate along the prior boundaries of tempered martensite. Under noobviously localized plastic deformation, the cracks are bridged together rapidly and the specimens are fractured finally. During the fracture, the specimen releases large amount of elastic-strain energy. This feature is not closely related to the existence of carbides in M2 tool steel, but to the toughening properties of the tempered martensite matrix. |
