| 英文摘要 | Posture is known to affect the pulmonary mechanics in the newborn infants. The effect ofpostural change on physiological functions was studied in 20 healthy full-term neonates (ten femaleand ten male) delivered by vaginal delivery at 1-2 h of postnatal age. The results would providea guide to the optimal nursing position for the stable full-term neonates immediately after birth.The mean (SD) gestational age and birthweight were 39 (1.2) weeks and 3402 (282.8) grams,respectively. The neonates were placed in the supine position and the physiological functions weremeasured after a stabilization period of 15 minutes in sequence of-10°, 0°, and 10° tilts. Oxygenation was not significantly different among tilts, while heart rate, respiratory rate and bloodpressure decreased as the angle increased from -10° to 10°, and the values were significantly lowerin 10° tilt than in -10° tilt. We suggested that nursing stable full-term neonates in a head up tiltthan conventional position may be beneficial if the "heart rate-metabolic rate " relationship wastaken into account.
