中文摘要 | 金屬成形製程對汽車、機械製造等工業一直都很重要。但是由於在成形製程中被 成形材料內的塑性變形量很大,困難自始即存在。在過去,金屬成形製程的分析和設計主要 是採用耗時又費錢的經驗法。以有限元素法為基礎的電腦輔助分析,到目前為止是最有前途 的數值分析法,並已在分析許多成形製程的塑性流上有很大助益。不幸的是由於欠缺偵測材 料破壞之能力,這些方法用在金屬成形分析上仍有不少限制。本文之目的在指出在有限元素 法中發展一套適當的破壞偵測法的可能性。 這是根據 1988 及 1990 年 Lee 引介的一種可 壓縮塑性流理論和一套最小平方值有限元素法。此法預計將可準確地模擬材料的流動,並可 預估成形製程的可加工性。 |
英文摘要 | Metal forming processes are important to many manufacturing industries, such as automobile, machinery, material fabrication, etc. However, difficulty always exists because of the complex nature of the large plastic deformation in deforming material during forming processes. In the past, the analysis and design of metal forming processes were mainly devoted to mepirical approaches which are usually very expensive and time-consuming. Computer-assisted-analysis based on finite element methods is by far the most promising numerical technology and has been very helpful in analyzing the plastic flow in many metal forming processes. Unfortunately, due to the lack of failure detection capability, current finite element methods still bear certain limitations in the analysis of metal forming processes. The objective of this proposal is to point out the possibility of developing a suitable failure detection algorithm in finite element method. The development will be based on a compressible plastic flow theory and a least squares finite element method which was introduced by Lee in 1988 and 1990. The leasts squares FEM is expected to accurately simulate material flow, and to predict the workability of metal forming processes. |
