中文摘要 | 本研究針對自行設計與製造的SWC車刀把,搭配未塗層處理及塗層TiCN或TiN處理 的燒結碳化物刀片,進行不同側刃角,側斜角及刀鼻半徑的切削試驗。結果顯示在相同之切 削深度,相同之進給及切削速度下,塗層處理車刀,無論在切削力量,馬達消耗電流,工件 表面粗糙度或是切削溫度方面,其值皆比未經塗層處理過車刀要低,顯示塗層處理確有其效 果。 再以 TiCN-SWC 車刀與 TiN-SWC 車刀相比較,發現 TiCN-SWC 車刀的切削力量較低, 但 TiN-SWC 車刀所得的工件表面光度較佳。 當側斜角等於 30 度,而側刃角也是 30 度時 ,切削最省力。另外,第2切層的硬度比第1切層的硬度低,微觀組織亦可顯示第2切屑溫 度較高,且易帶走切削熱,特別是第二切屑祗有極少部分是積屑刃緣( BUE )。 由研究中 也發現第二切屑主要是由負稜造成的, 且切削時產生的積屑刃緣( BUE )早已被這第二切 屑帶走。 |
英文摘要 | The special tool holder and its geometry are designed at first. The tool holders are milled and ground by ourselves to have various specifications with medium-carbon steel bars. In the study, three kinds of SWC tools, i.e. TiN-coated, TiCN-coated and uncoated tools are used in turning of plain carbon steel. Evaluated from overall performance, the coated-SWC tools are better than the uncoated SWC tools. Compared the values of cutting force and current consumption, as well as surface roughness of workpiece and the temperature of tip surface, the levels of coated-SWC tools are lower than that of the uncoated one. The cutting force of the TiCN-coated SWC tools is lower than that of the TiN-coated one. Form the surface roughness of workpiece, the TiN-coated SWC tools have the better results. Due to the hardness of secondary chip is lower than that of the main chip, the temperature of secondary chip is thus higer than that of the main chip. We postulate the SWC tools may transfer the cutting heat more easily than that of the conventional one. |
