中文摘要 | 利用有限單元法(finite element method)以完全的守恆微分方程式解析無限圓管中速度及溫度同時發展的情形,藉此研究圓管進口的熱傳現象。文中針對管壁恆溫加熱的邊界條件下,在Re= 1 ~ 100,Pr = 0.1 ~ 100的熱傳情形加以討論。並比較Pr=0.7時,Re =5~500,徑向對流對於納寒數(Nusselt number)及熱進口管長的影響。結果顯示,當Pe值小,徑向對流對於進口段熱傳的效應可予忽略;當Pe值大時,忽略徑向對流就會高估Nu, xi直及熱進口管長。為了檢視本文所發展的計算策略及計算機程式的正確性,先行求解Graetz問題,經與已發表精確解的文獻值比較,獲得十分滿意的結果。 |
英文摘要 | The combined thermal and hydrodynamic entrance region in an infinite circular tube is analyzed by a Galerkin finite element method. The governing equations consist of complete continuity, momentum, and energy conservation equations. For constant wall temperature, the heat transfer results are presented for Reynolds number ranging from 1 to 100 and Prandtl number from 0.1 to 100. The effect of radial convec-tion on Nusselt number and thermal entrance length for Reynolds number from 5 to 500 with a Pr = 0.7 is studied as well. In the entrance region, it is concluded that radial convection can be safely neglected for low Peclet numbers. In general, the neglect of radial convection results in higher local Nusselt number and longer thermal entrance length. To ex-amine the validity of the developed computation strategy and the com-putation program, the classical Graetz problem is solved and the numerical solution is found in very good agreement with the analytical counterpart. |
