中文摘要 | 恆春楊梅為恆春半島固有之先驅樹種,能與放射菌類Frankia spp.形成具 有共生固氮作用之根瘤,可以固定氮素,對林地肥力之保育及氮素養分之循環甚 為重要。 本研究探討恆春楊梅三年生天然林之放射菌根瘤之超微構造、根瘤生物量及共生 固氮作用。根瘤之超微構造顯示,細胞中有許多由放射菌瘤Frankia共生形成之包 囊。恆春楊梅放射菌活根瘤之年平均生物量為7.6克/株,而死根瘤者為0.7克/株。 根瘤之生長在春夏兩季較為旺盛,在秋冬則生長遲滯。其年平均固氮速率為10.7 微摩爾乙烯/根瘤克乾重/小時,固氮作用以在夏季為最旺盛,其他季節則較弱。 恆春楊梅之平均年固氮量為6.6克/株,以三年生恆春楊梅天然林之立木度為3,820 株/公頃,推測其年固氮量為每公頃25公斤氮素。 |
英文摘要 | Hungchung baybcrry (Myrica adenophora var. kusanoi).winch possessessymbiotic nitrogen fixation aclinorhizac, synibiotically fixcs nitrogen with Frankia,is an indigenous pioneer tree species in Hengchung peninsula in Taiwan.Hengchung bayberry is of great importanee in the improvement of forest soilfertility and nitrogen nutrient cycling. Objectives of this research were to investigate nodule ultrastructure, nodulebiomass, and symbiotic nitrogen fixation activity in threc-ycar-old Henchun bayberry stand in one year. The results revealed that there were vesicles pertaining to Frankin symbiosis in nodule cells. Mean annual live and dead nodule biomass were 7.6 and 0.7 g/tree respectively. Nodule growth was active in spring and summer. I lowever, it was relatively slow in fall and winter. Mean annual nitrogen fixation ratewas 10.7 urnolc reduced ethylene/g nodule dry wt./hr. Nitrogen fixation activitywas more active in summer than in other seasons. Mean annual nitrogen fixation was 6.6 g/ti'cc. Stand density of threc-ycar-old Hengchung bayberry was3,820 trecs/ha. The Mean annual nitrogen fixation was estimated at 25 kgN/ha. |
