中文摘要 | 應用濕式製程,並控制影響漿體黏度的變因,諸如固相承載量、分散劑 的選用與用量,有助於改善陶瓷成形體的品質。本研究係將矽粉(平均粒徑3.7微 米)、碳化矽晶鬚(平均長度30微米、平均直徑0.4微米)與氧化鐵(氮化催化劑)、氧 化釔及氧化鋁(燒結助劑)等,按不同的比例混入乙醇並調成泥漿,經添加不等量 之分散劑聚乙烯亞胺(PEI)及1wt黏結劑聚乙烯縮乙醛(PVB),利用自然沈降現象和 黏度的測量來描述漿體粒子的分散程度與流變行為。此外,並利用 Dougherty-Kreiger方程式解析流變曲線,求得堆積參數fcRr和粒子形狀因子KH與 分散劑量和晶鬚量之關係。將5volPEI分散劑添加至純矽泥漿,可得最大的fcR值 (約0.75),並使KH值下降至7.6;同樣添加5volPEI而含30vol晶鬚之泥漿,fcR值則減 至0.35,KH值增至19。分散良好之複合泥漿,晶鬚均勻地混合在等軸矽顆粒本體 中,並無聚集成團的現象。 |
英文摘要 | The quality of ceramic green bodies can be improved by controlling the wet-processing factors,such as solids loading, and kinds and amounts of dispersants. In this study, fine silicon powder (meandiameter 3.7 μm), iron oxide (a nitriding catalyzer), yttria and alumina (two sintering aids), and siliconcarbide whisker (mean length 30 μm, mean diameter 0.4 μm) were mixed in ethanol to form a slurry.By the use of the dispersant, polyethyleneimine (PEI), and the binder, polyvinyl butyl al (PVB), the dispersionand rheological behaviors of the slurries were characterized by sedimentation and viscosity measurements.The measurement of viscosity could be well described by the Dougherty-Kreiger equation, in which twoparameters, the critical packing factor (fcR) and the shape factor (KH), varied with the amount of thedispersant and the whisker. Silicon slurry with 5 volVo of PEI showed the highest fcR (0.75), and thelowest KH (7.6). After adding 30 vol of whisker in the silicon slurry, the compound slurry had lowerfcR (0.35) and higher KH (19). Under an appropriate control, the slurry can reach a well dispersed state,in that case, the whiskers show no clustering in the silicon matrix. |
