中文摘要 | 本研究係利用過氧化物做種子包被處理,以瞭解在過濕土壤中該包被劑促進大豆種子發芽之效果,同時對其促進發芽效過之機制予以探討。 茲將試驗結果摘錄如下: 種子先拌captan再包被一層裹物methylcellulose的效果最佳,其次為種子加captan,再次為種子加methylcellulose,如種子不加任何包被物便直接播種於浸濕土壤中,其發芽率幾近於0。 過氧化物包被處理以種子+captan+methylcellulose+ZnO₂或CaO₂的效果最佳,而Ca (OH)₂的效果不明顯。其中過氧化物之濃度以2%為最佳,濃度高於2%時則效果隨濃度之增加而遞減。 種子表面包被methylcellulose可降低吸水速率,及種子內物質滲漏量的減少。種子表面包被ZnO₂或CaO₂同時可降低ADH活性及減少酒精生成量,因而種子包被處理對於大豆種子於浸水狀態之發芽確實具有保護作用。 |
英文摘要 | The objectives of the study were to understand the germinability of peroxide coated seeds of soybean under flooded condition. The mechanism of the coating effect was also examined. Both varieties of Kaoshiung 8 and VS 205 were used as materials. The results were summarized as follows: The treatments of seeds coated with both captan and binder-methylcellulose had the greatest effect on the protection of seed germination under flooding. The treatment of seed + captan or seed + methylcellulose was not as good as prior treatment, and the treatment – seed only (without coating any material) had the lowest germination percentage. Seed coated with peroxides, the treatment seed + captan + methylcellulose + ZnO₂ or CaO₂ had the greatest effect on the stimulation of seed germination, but no significant effect by coating with Ca (OH)₂. Two percent of ZnO₂ or CaO₂ coating was better than any other concentration higher than 2%. Seed coated with methlcelluslose could reduce the rate of water uptake and electric conductivity. The treatment of seeds coated with ZnO₂ or CaO₂ could also reduce the activity of alcohol dehydrogenase and the content of accumulated alcohol. This, seed-coating treatments could be confirmed to stimulate seed germination of soybean under flooded condition. |
