中文摘要 | 五年制專科教育在科技進步的衝擊下必須合理地變動。變動的重點之一在於強化對物理基體觀念的認識及解題能力 (problem-solving skills) 的訓練,以因應未來工業發展的趨勢。現階段應密切結合工業界、學術界及教育機構共同決定物理教育變動的方向。課程應脫出傳統物理教材之窠臼,在編排順序及實例的選用作大幅的調整。教材應對工專各科之基本需求做普遍的涵蓋,而由各科教師選擇教授。在教授時,應注意實例的選用及解說,使學生體認物理是美好且實用的基礎科學,並知曉物理在各行業的應用概況。教師應多參與實際工業上的應用設計或參觀活動,深入瞭解物理在各方面的應用。學生學習態度應以主科對待之。因科技快速變遷,終身學習的時代已來臨了。就業後,工作性質可能會經常變動,必須不斷吸收新知識及接受再教育。新知識的吸收及再教育的順利進行要自深厚的基礎數學及科學素養為後盾。物理科學研習的良窳,關係學生一生的事業。在教育行政上,器材的添購及汰舊換新為各校之重大支出,似可考慮選取部份實驗以計算機模擬的方式進行,以減輕負擔。教學媒體的製作,教師的在職訓練與工廠實務經驗的獲取為重要的工作,校方應明訂辦法配合並鼓勵。 |
英文摘要 | Science and technology have an enormous impact upon the education program of five-year junior colleges. Physics educators are now working to adapt and exploit new technology. Streng thening basic physics concepts and teaching the students better problem-solving skills are as important as teaching motor skills in light of changing world conditions, which include the growing use of advanced technologies in the workplace. At present, close cooperation among industry, educators, and government is necessary in such areas as curriculum, on-job-training of instructors, and policy making. The curriculum should be flexible and proper1y modified in syllabus, sequence of teaching, and demonstration of examples. Demonstration of examples should be well correlated to modern technology. The physics textbook should cover different types of instructional programs and should be selectively taught by teachers to accomodate the various needs of the students. Teachers have to pay attention when making choices of illustrations to insure that the students realize that physics in an entertaining and practical basic science. |
