中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討在職國小教師對物理的態度及對物理教學與學習方面之意見。研究對象包含本校進修部兩班國小進修教師:一班為初轉班,全為代課教師,共45人;另一班為夜間教學碩士班,全為正式教師,共24人。研究係以問卷調查方式進行。問卷內容係研究者參考文獻所自行設計,並經一定程序後完成,共包含三個部分:基本資料、對物理和物理教學與學習...等的態度量表,以及對物理的態度影響因素及對師院物理教學改進的意見調查。問卷結果顯示代課教師和正式教師:在對物理或物理實驗的平均態度上,尚稱正向,但程度則有差別:在比較看 (或做) 實驗與聽課二者時,認為前者更能令他們專心,且在學習物理對國小教學有益的看法上,頗為一致;雖無教師表示自小學開始就不喜歡物理,但兩班中卻各有七,八成的教師表示自中學或大學後,變得不喜歡物理;對物理最負面的感覺是「物理問題太複雜,涉及邏輯思考和數學計算,令人頭痛。」;一致地認為一般學生對物理失去興趣的主因為「物理中的計算,增加了追求物理知識的阻礙」,其次為「物理的原理抽象又不實際,令人難以理解」;兩班中皆有超過五成者認為一半或一半以上的國小學童不喜歡自然科物理部分的教學;兩班中皆有約95%的人贊同「以實驗闡釋概念為主,結合學生生活經驗之探討為輔」的物理教學,最適合師院生及國小進修教師。以上結果,可提供研究者個人及師院其他物理教師等參考,以作為實際上改進物理教學的方向和依據。 |
英文摘要 | This study aims to investigate elementary-school teachers' attitudes toward physics and their opinions about physics teaching and learning. Two classes were chosen as subjects for survey:one included 45 non-formal teachers and the other included 24 formal teachers. The questionnaire used in this survey was designed by the researcher with references to literature. The results indicate that non-formal teachers' attitudes toward physics are more positive than formal teachers.' All teachers are more attentive to experiments than lectures and admit that physics learning is beneficial to the teaching in elementary schools. Even though none of teachers disliked physics in his or her elementary-school years, about 75% of them started to have a dislike of physics in their high school or college years. Physics is a headache for most of the learners on account of the necessity of logic thinking and mathematical skill for learning it. More than half of the teachers thought that half or more than half of the elementary-school students did not like physics teaching. About 95% of the teachers agreed that the best way for them to learn physics is that it can be instructed by clarifying concepts with experiments and by including everyday life experiences. The above-mentioned results may provide physics teachers at teachers college evidence and directions to improve their teaching. |
